Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of LawGraveyard. The site is run by an individual in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, referred to below as "we". By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

1. Not affiliated with LSAC

LawGraveyard is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the Law School Admission Council. LSAT, LSAC, PrepTest and LawHub are trademarks of the Law School Admission Council, Inc., used here only to describe which test and which practice materials an entry refers to.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

3. Your account and your content

Your error log belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it. You can export it at any time, and delete your account yourself from the profile menu. Deleting removes everything held on the server and leaves the copy in your own browser untouched.

For anything you post publicly, meaning comments, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and display it on the site so it can be shown to other users. That licence exists so the site can function and ends when the content is deleted, apart from backups that expire on their normal cycle.

4. What you may not post

LSAT questions, passages and answer choices are copyrighted by LSAC. You may refer to a question by its PrepTest, section and number, describe what it asks, and discuss the reasoning. You may not use this site to reproduce or distribute LSAC's material.

Specifically, do not post:

• Full or substantial verbatim reproductions of question stems, stimuli, reading passages or answer choices, in comments or anywhere else visible to other users
• Scans, screenshots or transcriptions of official test material
• Content that harasses, threatens or demeans another person
• Spam, advertising, or links to pirated test material
• Anything unlawful, or anything infringing someone else's rights

The private notes field in your own log is for your own use. Even there, quoting more than you need is a bad idea, because accepted friends can read your log.

You also agree not to scrape the site, hammer it with automated requests, attempt to access data belonging to other users, or work around the limits built into it.

5. Reporting content

Every comment and every question description carries a report link. Use it to flag anything offensive, spam, or anything that reproduces LSAT question text. Reports go to the site owner for review. The person you report is not told who reported them, and reports cannot be read by anyone other than the owner.

If you would rather not use the report link, or you are not a registered user, email lawgraveyard@gmail.com with enough detail to identify the material, including the PrepTest, section and question number where the comment appears.

Material found to be infringing will be removed, and accounts that repeatedly infringe will be terminated. A record of reports that were acted on is kept for this purpose, so that repeat infringement can be identified. That record outlives the content it refers to.

Removing a comment replaces its text but leaves the reply thread beneath it readable.

6. Free, and what that means

Every feature is free. There is no paid tier, no trial, and no payment is ever collected. Because nothing is being sold, you are not a customer in the commercial sense, and the service comes with no purchased guarantee of any kind.

7. No promises about your score

LawGraveyard is a record-keeping tool. It does not teach the LSAT, and using it does not guarantee any score or any admission outcome. Nothing on the site is educational advice, legal advice, or advice about your applications.

8. Availability

This is a personal project run by one person. It may be slow, briefly unavailable, or changed without notice. Features may be added or removed. We will try to give notice before anything that would cause you to lose data, and you can always export your log yourself.

9. As-is, and limits on liability

The site is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, lost study time, or test outcomes. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid to use the site, which is nothing.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, and nothing here removes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

10. Ending your access

You can stop using the site at any time and delete your account yourself from the profile menu. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, particularly section 4, and will normally explain why unless doing so would not be appropriate.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the date at the top will change and the change will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country of residence.
